RHS Chatsworth Flower Show

RHS Chatsworth Flower Show

Halton & Warrington Pickup Route: A day at the first RHS Chatsworth Flower Show, set in the grounds of the beautiful Chatsworth House in the heart of the Peak District.

For the first time in more than a decade, the RHS is embarking on a new show with a style and content unlike any of its existing events.

RHS Chatsworth Flower Show will be set within the scenic grounds of the Chatsworth Estate. Its overarching theme is ‘Design Revolutionaries’ and will celebrate not only the creative genius of gardeners and garden designers from the past, especially Joseph Paxton who was once the estate’s gardener, but also the talent, ideas and conceptual thinking of today’s generation of designers.

Discover a range of Show Gardens like no other, where designers push boundaries to create daring and innovative designs. Exciting categories such as FreeForm will provide a blank canvas for designers to showcase their ground breaking ideas.

Rather than the grid system used at other RHS events, the show will be laid out to reflect the natural curves of the landscape, maximising the estate’s far-reaching vistas and beautiful house.

Show-goers will be able to move between the different sides of the showground using specially designed bridges across the River Derwent which will become key features of the show content. One bridge will be created in the Palladian style and while it will have a traditional look from the outside, the inside will be decorated with an unexpected floral installation.
